COCONUT OIL

This is the easiest hair mask ever. Also, one of my all-time favorites! If your hair is lacking that beautiful shine you want ever so badly, I PROMISE you that this mask will give you healthy hair in no time. Put some coconut oil in your hands and work it into the ends to about halfway up your hair. Twist your hair into a bun and put a shower cap on. Leave mask on for at least 30 minutes. I find it works best when you sleep with it overnight though! When taking it off, gently wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. Apply this mask at least once a week to maintain your new gorgeous, healthy hair.

AVOCADO

This is a recipe for strong hair! I got this idea from Lauren Conrad’s book, “Beauty.” Mash up an entire avocado and mix it with four tablespoons of yogurt and one egg white. Work this mixture into the bottom two-thirds of your hair and leave the mask on for at least 30 minutes. While the avocado will soften your hair, the yogurt and egg will restore your hair strands with protein. Rinse and wash mixture out with lukewarm water.

YOGURT, HONEY & OLIVE OIL

Want to restore your long lost locks? Even though honey may not seem like the best, probable substance you would like to put in your hair, you would be surprised how amazing this kitchen condiment can restore your hair when mixed with these other two ingredients! Grab 1 tsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of honey, and 1/4 cup of yogurt. Mix the ingredients well and apply to damp hair. Allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse and wash your hair allowing to dry as normal.
